Gorgeous! I think it would be extremely likely that large predatory theropods would have been disruptively camouflaged, as this sort of coloration would be necessary for large ambush predators that hunted prey that almost certainly had full color vision and excellent eyesight.

Pretty cool. Like the tiger-like stripes, gives the animal a sense of character, other than a elephantine-like dull pattern.

A dull-coloured T-rex is perfectly plausible, but you can also cross the line on that one. This seems to be on the perfect margin between dull-coloured and completely exuberant colourful, the latter of which is not preferrable, as such large animals likely were not that vibrant.

It depends on weather you're doing traditional or digital art. Create a texture brush and cover the body with said brush. If you're doing traditional, lightly draw little circles across the body
