Nice imagery- a mermaid swaying on the beach to her own tune!

Only pick I have- and this is just personal preference, mind you- is that tail is a bit too long.

Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad you like! I like the idea of her just listening to the rhythm of the waves and involved in her dance. As for the tail, it may be a little long, but I know at the time I was looking at different fish and playing with different ideas. I would have to look up just what tail she had but I am sure that there was a reason her tail was that long. Or maybe not!

Charcoal is one of my favorite mediums. I love that both black and white charcoal was used. Very nice another for the favorites.

I love charcoal as well, enjoy working with it and the way it looks. It is a very tactile medium.(Idon't think thats right but I have tried so many different ways to spell it now nothing looks right)Thanks for the support!Have a cup...
