Oh wow, great job! I love the way you paint skin tones, it looks so nice. I will have to try using some white paint as well, i've been thinking of it. Did you use gouache for the white?

Thank you!! (: I love painting skin, after staring at enough faces the shadows get easier! Also, blending tends to be smoother on thicker paper with more water.
I used Holbein's Chinese White watercolour paint, it's pretty opaque so it's almost like gouache. Thinking of trying gouache soon actually!

Oooh I would love to see your work with gouache! I'm working on something now, but embarrassed to post it haha xD I will try using a thicker paper :3

Awww don't be embarrassed!! It's good to have your work archived somewhere so you can see how you improve as you practice (: Can't wait to try gouache, really looking forward to getting myself some basic colours this week!
Good paper brands are Langton by Daler Rowney, which is what I used to use, and Saunders Waterford, which is what I'm using now :3
