this is beautiful ovo i really liked ariel too but then she became boring when she became a mother. You can still be adventurous and a little bit quirky and still be a mother

I felt the same way! But I mean, she was all nervous and stuff because of morgana. That could kill someones spirit. But still, she was so spunky..I guess Melody took it when she was born haha
It was between ariel, kovu, and anna.. ariel won simply because I didn't feel like drawing the others -_-

being fearful for your kid definantly does that to a person but even before melody left she seemed like a bland mother, same goes for eric, he stopped being charming and became a bland father. Such a waste of fun characters. And is it just me or could Ariel just have taken the time to explain to Melody about her past before she went awal? I mean if anyone understood Melody it would be Ariel. But I guess they had to have a sequel repeating the exact same plot with a similar character. I would have much rather see Ariel tackle the difficulties of learning how to be human and see her mess up occasionally. Like in that one part in cinderella 2 where she learns to be a queen.

Yea I didn't think it was the best sequal. I see what they were trying to do, show how Melody is just like her mother, and I liked the movie but you are right the characters were a bit off. Now, Lion King 2...that is a good sequal!

manly-unicorn In reply to CoffeeVulture [2014-03-27 19:26:43 +0000 UTC]

I liked it but i got to say I loved lion king 1 and a half better, I just love timon and pumba. Now pixar didn't do sequels but of they did I would have loved to see a sequel to the incredibles but with the original incredibles ending slightly different. I wonder what would have happened if sindrom was actuallys successful in kidnapping jack jack and raised him as his own villain baby. the family searched for him but could never find him. Years later sindrom returns with jack jack, a now powerful villain and the incredibles go after him to destroy him, They then find out that it's actually Jack Jack, I don't know, maybe it's too dark but I would be extremely interested to see how that would turn out. I'm kimd of a fan of unhappy endings or not entire
y happy endings but all with moderation of course.

I never cared much for 1 and a half. Not sure why.. And yea, kinda dark for a disney movie. Speaking of dark and disney..I will never forget how when I was a child I popped in the wrong "Little mermaid" vhs unknowing that there was two. I ended up watching the hans christian anderson one and crying my eyes out at the end and being traumatised from watching the little mermaid for quite some time hahah

ah dark fairy tales. Although pirates of the carribean is disney too and it's quite dark. Maybe they could put a pg13 rating or something if they were to do the incredibles sequel like that. Ah, most fairy tales have a dark original which is then lightened up for children. For exaample Sleeping beauty was raped in her sleep and apparently gave birth to twins in her sleep or something along those lines, Hansel and gretel's father gave them up for dead, red riding hood and grandma were swallowed whole before the woodcutter sliced open the wolf's belly etc. I wonder how these became children stories but I prefer the darker versions (except sleeping beauty, that's just nasty)

Yeah I know, now that I'm older I love the original tales. But as a kid I was like "noooo why would they do this!?" . And then theres in cinderella how the stepsisters cut off their toes trying to fit the shoe and get their eyes pecked out in the end. Fox and the hound is completly different. Copper kills tods friends and family, tod dies of exhaustion, and copper gets put down. Pinochio kills Jimminy. Theres so many of them. I became obsessed a few years back.

manly-unicorn In reply to CoffeeVulture [2014-03-27 20:13:58 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I remember that one but fox and the hound is even darker than the movie? I would have never thought that it was based off a book. Same goes for pinichio. I'm love all twisted versions of fairy tales like shrek, once upon a time etc. I'm actually writing my own version of hansel and gretel where gretel was too cowardly to push the witch in the oven amd so hansel died and the witch kept gretel with her as her personal slave for years. It's obviously a lot more complicated than that and gretel teams up with the pied piper etc etc. I had this idea before they started going crazy with the fairy tale movies, jack the giant slayer, hansel and gretel the witch hunters, snow white and the huntsmen...i see a reocurring theme of hunting here...hmm.

I haven't either but hawkeye is in it so you know he means business. I don't really get why hawkeye and black widow are in the avengers though. I would have just gotten superman, hulk, ironman ( because you gotta love ironman) and thor for some ethnic diversity haha.

Ah and puns, Puns everywhere!

Me like, but liked the charcters way more than the actual plot. Fav characters go Olaf, Anna, Β kristof, Elsa. Don't get why everyone is obsessed with elsa. Oh and I loved how they adressed the cliche of marrying someone you've just met. Oh and they are so adorable when they were younger

The plot was like a moody chameleon, It changed every ten minutes. I knew hans was evil cuz I accidentally saw a spoiler alert haha otherwise it would haves till been kinda fishy. He was too perfect, and no girl is paired with a hot guy on an adventure and doesn't end up with him. But if hans wasn't evil, would you have still picked kristoff?
