I wanted to cheer myself up a bit and drew this.

Leo made little octopus bento-thingies for Tygus. XD;

I dunno. XD

He is just too manly for accepting something like that... until begged long enough. Or ordered.

Tygus grumbled. “That fat lizard called you a *8%X*$.”

Leo chuckled and picked a little octopus wiener from the small bowl of hot food he made himself. “The lizard has sincerely apologized.”

Tygus folded his arms casually ignoring the itchy feeling the bandages caused. “Of course he did. Sir.” He eyed the small piece of adorable little creation on the fork for a long moment before he peeked back into the Commander’s smiling face. “After I demonstrated my disapproval by giving him a not too cherish-able memory with my fists.”

Leo lifted the small mouthful for the hospitalized cat. “But for that you had to go through thirty-six other lizards.”
The Captain turned his chin from the offered food. The little thing was smiling at him mockingly. Tygus was sure he will laugh in joy if this goes on, but he couldn't let the nurses know that the commander’s visit melted his seemingly cold metal heart. “He believed he had the chance to hide behind his comrades. They had the foul illusion that they can protect him.”

Leo’s smile widened as he saw the Captain’s reddening face. Damn the old warrior had such a handsome profile. “Don’t ignore your lunch.” He waved the small octopus wiener in front of the tiger’s face in a playful manner.

“I do not require to be fed, Commander.”

“But look,” Leo smile was mischievous if not downright evil. He could hear the nurses giggle at the end f the room as the pretended to be very busy rearranging the medicine in the glass cabinet. “It is so happy to see you!”

Tygus twitched as the nurses giggled louder. ”Commander, your rank is way too high to waste your precious time caring to patients whom are not even slightly critically injured.” The small portion smelled really good and Tygus didn’t had the chance to eat since his breakfast. But he was a man. He will not be bribed to purr with a little food. Even if he -did- love his stomach. And the lion did cook good.

Leo shrugged leisurely. “My rank allows me to do whatever I want, my protective Captain.” Leo caught eye contact with the nurses and motioned them out with a small tilt of his head, so both girls immediately left, leaving the two alone.

The tiger let his shoulder loosen as the door closed behind them. ”And all I want is to use out this rare opportunity to fondle your fearless self.” Leo finished softly.

Tygus let his lip crook upwards as he blinked back at the lion. After a long moment he added. “He also said you dye your hair.”
The surprise on Leo’s face was hardly visible. Tygus accepted the first bite of his desired lunch.

“You did well.” Leo said.

The Captain shrugged. “Your cooking is delicious, of course I humbly accept it.”

Leo shook his head softly and offered the next mouthful for his beloved Captain. “I meant you have done well, to beat him up.” Leo was way too proud of his hair.

“Anytime, Kitten. Anytime.” Tygus purred to hide his grumbling stomach and munched on the second portion of his lunch with a proud, happy smile.
