EDIT: I fixed his teeth, thank you to ~DevonianFossil for pointing it out ^-^No idea why its taken me so long to draw something from one of my favorite stories. This is Peachblossom, Kel's horse from Tamora Pierce's Protector of the Small series. I love this ill tempered, scared, strawberry roan. This is always how I envision him, ready to bite anything and kick anyone foolish enough to walk behind him (well everyone but Kel, Stephan, Daine, and later Tobe). In all the other images of him I don't see his scars, he has bit, spur, whip, and scars from being improperly saddled. ^-^ I love every scared inch of him.

Oh man! it looks just like how I imagined him, just a bit more saturated, but I love that. Even the scars; I'm glad you paid attention to that detail, cause it's part of his character. that and his adorably grumpy attitude (IMO at least XD)

Beautiful details in coloring the coat, but a horse's front teeth are angled forward by at least 20 or 30 degrees from the vertical. It's all the better to nip an unaware Neal with!

I love Tamora Pierce so much! My favorites are definitely the Immortals and Song of the Lioness, but I really enjoyed Protector of the Small too ^^

^-^ Thank you, Tamora Pierce is actually the one who inspired me to write my own medieval fantasy stories ^-^ (the Sea of Storms folder in my Galery, not much in there right now though)

If you want some opinions I will be happy to help ^^ I've looked over a few short stories before- I much prefer to give plot/character advice than grammar/spelling etc. advice. When I was in middle school, I wrote a story and asked a teacher to look it over- she only checked the mechanics of it, never mentioned the story itself- it was so depressing. So now that's my anti role model XD

well I have a cousin to help with my dislexia (grammer and spelling issues) and I'm always looking for people to poke holes in my plots and worlds so I can fill them and make my worlds better ^-^

I won't poke holes, but I will be thrilled to help with story stuff XD I'm sure it will be great- I enjoy medieval fantasy, it's definitely one of my favorite genres.
