This is, at its heart, a most wonderful seascape. I see sand, the sun, and of course the sea; all the elements one might ask ask of a seascape of the highest quality.
One might ask: "Where is the textural vision, the light, and the shade?". But they are all here, one merely needs to squint slightly and all that you might wish to see falls into place in a perfect balance.
A quite magnificent work, undoubtedly enhanced immeasurably by the slightly blurred black and grey lines that crisscross its plane, rather as our memories sear through our brain as age becalms us at sea
