~It was those cute little eyes that shone with innocence or want for that cake. Could one ever wish to resist them?~

The challenge was: Puppy eyes. There was no limit to what kind of animal shold be chosen, but merely that it might look so.
So allow me to present: Ramses. He belongs to the crocodilian type alien species, and is thus a bit more than the lot, that likes to disappear in murky waters and pretend to be innocent logs just floating about, minding their own business untill an opportunity arises. While young, his species appears very similar to the younglings of the normal crocodilian type animals, but as he matures, the differences begin to show more clearly. At his age most of the communication is in chirps, grumbles, rumbles, snaps and hisses, with a few clicks thrown in. With age however, his ability of speech will develop, so that he will be able to form more complex sounds and words.
While being an intelligent creature however, he should not be left to eat in his own fashion. It is food that might suffer for it, it is also the table cloth, neighbouring chairs, tables and possibly other residents in their finery, walls. The list could go on. A deathroll after all is the way to get that pesky slice of steak done for good!
