Description
It's the battle of Nintendo's greatest cephalopods. Young vs old, squid vs octopus, it's the Inklings vs Mr. Game and Watch. It looks like these young upstarts have decided to take their turf war over to Flat Zone, bringing all of their messy weapons with them. But the good G&W is not going to lose his home without a fight.Here's hoping the Inklings make it into Smash Bros so they can settle the score. (And no, the Mii Fighter costumes don't count)

Smash Broadcast in December. My fingers are crossed. As much of a crazy surprise Cloud was, I'm still hoping the Inklings make it in.

Isaac would be cool, too. Although I wonder if Cloud already stole the spot for a spiky blonde haired sword wielder from an RPG.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. Though I think if Isaac made it in, he would be more of a magic user like Robin and not rely heavily on his sword. His Psynergy and elemental Djinni powers would help him stand out among the rest of the roster. Hell, he may not even need a sword. He wields axes and maces too.

Yeah, other than the sword (which seems superfluous) and the down B counter, he/she seems more interesting. And I did end up liking Robin, despite not usually going for the FE characters.
My guess is any Nintendo characters that made it high up on the ballot are being saved for the next game.
