gift for because I can and she is a good bro fufuf and I like drawing dragons. This was just kind of a goofy warmup doodle but everyone liked it so I figured I would actually try finishing something for once seeing as I've been lazy as of late. Fuffu well I'm glad you like the background I was kinda stumped what to do for a bit because circles or other shapes would have looked weird so I figured scales would be a good plan.

I like dragons when they're drawn this epicly. IRN BRO: The Illustrated Story. I sometimes feel like I'm not as productive as I should be as an artist, and then I end up drawing tons of traditional art that I'm not sure I would do justice to if I tried to complete it digitally. (Twilite saying "I'm solar powered" ... highlighter and mechanical pencil YES)
I think it's admirable how your style maintains a lot of great elements from the traditional even when you do it in digital. Maybe even I can start to draw dragons, someday.
