If not for the fact that nightmare likes to keep his marital status on the downlow, the exsistance of this woman would probably never have been known. Not necessarily being a fan of her spouse, The Wife tends to stay out of his way, usually wandering around aimlessly and amusing herself with the little things she finds during her travels.

Nightmare and the wife, wtf?
Do you know the story of Hades and Persephone? Imagine persephone was an unsuspecting young woman doing her grocery shopping, and hades was an ass searching shadow on a mission. So he grabbed her, and she threatened to cut him. And proceeded to do so, during the entire trip. Finding her anger endearing, he decided that opposed to being a piece of ass worthy of a one night stand, she would be his wife. Now imagine persephone not getting to leave every six months and beating the shit out of hades every couple of days for being an idiot. Also, due to the exposure persephone eventually gained some abilities.

Her main abilities:
1) Hypnotism and manipulation through eye contact
2) The ability to see an individual's fears.
3) the ability to have illusions of said fears manifest around said individual.

Personality:
For the most part, Wife is a very friendly woman. She likes making sure nobody gets hurt, and she's very caring, usually trying to protect people she comes across in her husband's realm if they don't belong there in the first place.

Her relative tolerance level has very much to do with the laws of common sense. if you do dumb shit, you are more likely to have her dislike you. And the more she dislikes you, the further you should run. Basically, while she's a good person and is always willing to help others, her fuse is a bit short.

When it comes to nightmare, seeing as how she became his wife against her will anyways, she tends to hit him. Alot. And call him names, and they generally don't get along too well because he finds her far too easy to tease and she has little to no tolerance for his bullshit.

Fighting Style:
She knows a good deal of hand to hand, but her skill really lies in the manipulation of her opponent. Her abiities make her a force to be reckoned with, and, while she usually hesitates to use them. if she finds you a significant threat, consider yourself a target for all that she has to throw at you.

Pros:
She'll be more willing to help you if you are against nightmare to begin with. Seeing as how she tends to enjoy putting wrenches in his plans. Her husband's minions won't go after her, and maybe, if you ask nicely, she can manipulate others into helping you.

Cons:
She's a mortal, to an extent. she gets injured, her limbs don't regenerate, and cutting off her head means death. Also, sometimes her intentions aren't quite clear, and her short fuse means that if you mess with her too much you may be in for a nasty surprise.
