I had nothing to do with creating this image. Jef Bertels created it. It's the cover of the 7th Ayreon album entitled "01011001". It happens to be one of my favorite albums of all time.Related content

Both the music and the artwork for this album are sweetness. Arjen Anthony Lucassen has some great leadership skills, since he can create such great music with such a large amount of people.

That's one of the most surreal Ayreon covers ever, Jef Bertels is amazing. I love the land/seascape of Planet Y... but sometimes it's kinda hard to see it in any detail in a small Jewel case booklet. >:3

Ayreon is an absolute highlight in progressive metal. Their cover art fits to it.
I've one wish - please respect the artist who designed the cover. dA is for presenting your OWN art. If you like Ayreon, just ask Arjen if you can use their music, lyrics or cover art as inspiration. As I know him, you'll get a positive answer as I got.
