Description
January - Was a pretty alright month. I learned how to make speed paints after getting a computer that could handle it. Sun and Moon had also recently come out and cosplay plans for the female grunt were underway (but never came through).

February - I started a high school painting class and barely drew. A commissioned portrait of a friend in Scott Pilgrim style was the only thing I could find from this month : D

March - Using adobe suite in class, learned how to make vectors out of lined drawings to color them digitally. I later abandoned this because the class ended and didn't like the look.

April - Xayah and Rakan are teased and then released. I doodled Xayah excessively this month and I don't really do much else. School is ending and everything is shite

May - I couldn't find anything from May! I began working on a Xayah cosplay during this month and got back into sewing. While it wasn't an art heavy month, I did get a lot of practice. I made my first skirt along with a zipper, and I learned how to control my machine.

June - Did an internship were I drew for a company. Drew a few things in my spare time.

July - Actually started to draw my own characters again. Made a few references for Art Fight before I learned it was only a month long

August - Art Fight got me back into drawing again. I continued to draw my own characters and picked up digital painting again. It was such a busy month, it was really hard to pick a favorite!

September - Started school, but still drawing. Not much to say other than lineart is fun.

October - Nothing special, but I did made a lot of pieces I'm really proud of this month.

November - Barely drew again :<

December - Not drawing a lot. I guess I draw furries now lol

Overall, this year wasn't too art heavy at all. I don't feel like I've improved a whole bunch, but I'm definitely going to push to draw more in 2018. There were a lot of life changes during the year that definitely impacted me and even though I haven't been drawing, I'm still learning new thing. In October, I leaned how to sew a little jacket and in December, I learned how to knit and got more into thrifting. I really hope 2018 stands to be a better year even if I just end up drawing furry garbage tbh

GOALS FOR 2018- Draw more often, study basic fundamentals of art, sew a pair of stretchy jeans

Tldr; Year was sort of crappy art wise. Did still learn things. Hoping for a better year of art next year
