Description So today when I got off work I messed around and doodled a bit, and I decided to turn this quick pencil sketch [link] into a digital piece. I'm kind of proud of it (though it has its fair share of errors!) because it's the first piece I've done in a long time without using any references whatsoever. Freehand peoples, freehand!

This is Fanny Brawne, fiance and muse to 19th century poet John Keats. I became incredibly interested in their story last week after discovering the headstone of John Keats. It gives you CHILLS! Go look at it! [link]

So I have this beautiful story in my head about Keats and Fanny, but it's just a matter of actually writing it. For now I think I'll just let it ride and work on my other stories. But I'm seriously shipping this couple!

Keats is amazing! I saw "Bright Star" not too long ago, which was a great adaption of the story

Yeeeeaaaahhhhh, I had to buy it from iTunes . It ended up being pretty darn slow, but the visuals are so incredible. And of course, you have to love the time period. Overall, it's a film I would watch more than a few times, but I still enjoyed it. [[SPOILERS!!]] Fanny's reaction to John's death at the end is WORTH the price of the movie--it was remarkably well written and brilliantly acted.

Thank you! No, but my art is definitely being influenced subconsciously by some of my favorite artists

I guess I've just never wanted to seriously pursue art. It's more of a hobby for me. I may minor in art when I go to college next year, though
