Description "Really dear, why do you bother with all of this?"Ghistasia asks.

"With what Mother?" Cassandra asks, watching as her crew keeps busy prior to their arrival at the hyperspace coordinates exit point.

"All of this," the redhead tries again, waving her hand at the entirety of the ship. "You hardly need this craft to traverse the void, and you certainly don't need this horde of subordinates, although I can certainly understand the allure of holding so many lives in the palm of your hand."

"My people are not food, Mother," her ebony haired offspring informs her, her tone rather frosty. "Well, unless they mutiny, but that hardly ever happens any more," she amends.

"Captain, Five minutes to Reversion to realspace!" her navigator warns.

"Make ready to cut the hyperdrive, and sound the ready alert," she orders. "And really Mother, I don't question your fixation with dusty tomes and scrolls," she adds, picking the conversation back up as if the interruption hadn't occurred.

"I'm your mother, it's all the reason required to question your decisions, ask any of the beings you command that are as well, they will agree with me," Ghistasia smirks at her.

"And the children will agree with me when I tell you that this is the Fun part," Cassandra smirks back as the ship exits Hyperspace. "All guns, FIRE AT WILL!" she orders. "Marauders! Prepare to Launch!"

"So what the terrans say is true," Ghistasia muses as she watches her eldest offspring launch her pirate raid on the merchant ship. "No matter how old they get, Some of them simply refuse to grow up."

"Mother, please," Cassandra chuckles at that. "I've simply turned something I enjoy doing into a profitable enterprise. Besides, this particular ship happens to be dealing in antiquities, and its captain is reputed to have quite the library on board."

"You don't say," the far older Ghidoran returns, her voice taking on a thoughtful tone. Then she shoots a suspicious look at her daughter and asks, "And was that a consideration in your choice of victims?"

"Of course it was. I wanted to get you a gift, but he was going to be someplace we could get to him until now," she grins back. "My Marauders await you in the launch bay. They will escort you across and see to it that you are not disturbed while you browse."

"Such a thoughtful child," Ghistasia chuckles as she leaves her daughter to her work, eager to see what the other ship might hold for her.
