So, in you're opinion, how is it, compared to the first? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it.

I think it is much better than the first. I felt like the pacing on the first one was badly off and the romance was way too forced. The second one is much better in pacing and the romance isn't nearly as awkward. And of course, Loki finally has shapeshifting! He uses actual magic now instead of just the clone trick! It's perfect!
