Just playing around with my new Canon 50 mm f1.8 lens, about an hour after I got it for my birthday. I like the concept of the man-made object on the natural grass.

Here's the deal - I'll be honest in that I have pretty much no clue what I'm doing with this thing. I need tips, hints, tricks, and suggestions on how I can make my work better, because without that I'm more lost than Bill Gates climbing mountains in Nepal.
