Former lead singer of the Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer. I am can't stand her and her blogging, but I will always love "Truce" from the Dolls' first album.Edit:
I would first like to say that I truly appreciate all of the faves and considerate comments that I have received from everyone. Thank you so very much! While the topic if this painting remains touchy for me, I am very proud of this piece and am glad there are those out there who enjoy it.
Secondly, I would like to apologize to those who might be mislead by my posting this painting. At this point, while I do love her older work, I am not longer a fan of Amanda Palmer's. Sadly to say, her tweets and blog posts (where she insists on not using capitals or punctuation?), with sometimes equally obnoxious statements (esp. those about Tori Amos)have really put me off. When she stops insisting on being naked, finding child abuse a humorous topic/ concept, stops not-rehearsing for shows and expecting her fans to love everything that she does regardless of quality, and when everything that comes out of her mouth is no longer crass, I will reconsider my feelings.

Ha, I'll admit that her long blog posts and excessive tweets about the same thing get agitating. But she writes some fucking great songs.

I think her ego has really effected her song writing. I think when she starts writing things more earnestly again and stop with her insistence on being naked all of them time, I will be happy again.
(This isn't to say that I don't appreciate her things that she has done that I *do* like, however, is this makes sense!)
