Description The Georgian architectural style of the 18th and early 19th centuries is popular here at Vanderbilt University in Nashville as well as all across the Eastern half of the U.S.  If I had to describe the Georgian style, I would say it features British and Dutch brick masonry, Dutch colonial windows, German gothic windows and spires, Greco-Roman columns, and occasionally Napoleonic French roof peaks like on some square towers.

You know what they say: e pluribus unum!
