For the first time today, I listened to Same Love by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Featuring Mary Lambert.
There is nothing more important in this world than love. Love is showing compassion, patience, acceptance, and support. Whether that love is shared between two friends, two soul mates, two strangers...Love is the glue that binds the world together.
Even as a heterosexual female, I support all kinds of love. I don't think it matters if that love is between a male and a female, two males, or two females.
Not allowing marriage to a couple of the same sex isn't showing love towards your fellow human beings. It's creating intolerance, ignorance, and hatred that is trying to be passed down to future generations.
But the choice is ours to make. We can choose to love instead of hate. By doing so, our children and our children's children can live in a more peaceful world, where love, acceptance, and equality reigns! Please, support love!

As I have grown, my belief in God has not changed. My belief that all the rules in the bible are to be followed blindly, has.
The ability to reproduce is not possible for all heterosexual couples, so that reason is invalid to me. There are already too many unwanted children in this world as it is.
I feel that sort of thinking should stay in the past.
If two consenting people love and cherish each other and want to be together, they should be. It's no one's business but their own. If God is going to judge them, he will. It's not for you or I to decide what's right.

Where IS the love? Or is it here and people just nitpicking and blowing it up into a story. It's like we've lost the word 'love' and replaced it with 'entertainment.' When love is really all we need.

no. im not going to support gay people. they have no boundaries in life, and if they have no sexual boundaries, how can we trust them with our children?

I know many wonderful loving families with parents of the same sex that are raising fantastic children.
I'm so sorry that you or maybe someone you know has had a run in with a bad person who happens to be homosexual.
But my opinion is that everyone needs to be judged individually for their actions. Not letting a few bad people be the basis to judge as a whole group of people. I certainly hope you reconsider one day.

I totally agree with every single word you said! I can't believe there's so much intolerance and inequality in this day and age. Love is love. I can't stand when people stand behind religion (which is suppose to be about love) and preach hate.
