An early "Merry Christmas" to everyone who celebrates Christmas!
I chose this deviation to enter it in the 'What does Christmas mean to you?' contest at #Xpose-it .
When I think about Christmas, I think about joy and happiness. Christmas is the event that brings families together. Everyone is nice to everyone. It's just something different in the air! You may be happy and don't even know why.
One of the most important traditions is decorating the tree in Christmas Eve. It's probably the thing I love doing the most. 
Thinking about Christmas also makes me think about winter and snow. Until now I haven't seen any Christmas without snow. I love fooling around with friends, building a snowman and go ice-skating.
To me Christmas means being around friends and family, being all warm and fuzzy around the Christmas tree, giving a lot of love, baking cookies, but also a lot of fun.
I have chosen to submit this deviation because I want to share the love around Christmas and wish everyone a 'Merry Christmas'!

I'm not going to write you an actual critique because I just don't know enough about photography. But I will say that I love the snow in this picture I think its very pretty. I also like that you focused your image by making the background blurry. Good stuff.

This picture is very interesting. It can be taken many ways. For example, it could be taken just as a holiday picture. Yet, it seems to almost be warm and cold at the same time. For example, the message is for the viewer to have a merry Christmas, but the background image is cold and uninviting. It can also be taken as a sort of depressing Christmas picture. Either way, I think it will bring out emotions in any viewers. I hope I was clear enough in my thought process.
