They're prettier than some of the concept art pieces Project Soul makes for Soul Calibur. And I LOVE their weapons.

I'm guessing you know what Soul Calibur is, but yeah the art for the series is beautiful. The characters/stages/weapons . These are the versions of Soul Calibur and Soul Edge in Soul Calibur V [link]

Oooooo, pretty pretty details indeed. So much so, there's intentional blurring of the second sword--probably for copyright/anti-theft measures. My memories of Soul Calibur are of the second game and whichever one had Link in it. (remember how SHOCKED everyone was when that was first announced?) And I prefer those nostalgic feels. My knowledge of any SC game after that are about the same as any Final Fantasy game after 8.

I knowww there are such pretty details that picture doesn't show This one shows with a shield [link] I love SC2! First one I played. Its nostalgia's forever! And don't worry. I've never played a FF game. So don't feel bad!

If there is ONE FF game I recommend any 90's kid/old school nerd play, it's Final Fantasy 3...er 6, as it is known officially.

As much love as there is for 7, (myself included) there's just something about 6, SOMETHING about it that puts me through this addicting nostalgic abuse cycle. I can't get enough. I still play it. It still gives me a pouty lip. I never thought I could have such love and comradery with friggin 16-bit pixels. But they're hilariously endearing and tragic.

I don't think someone whose never played the game will feel the same way I do, but if you are a Sega/Super Nintendo Nerd, there's a chance you'll get a smidgeon of it. : D

Ya know I never had a SNES when I was little. I had an NES and went straight to N64. My neighbor gave me hers since she's "getting rid of" her video game things. To which I died and now she's giving it all to me. In parts anyway. She gave me her games with it and I think I got a FF game. The messed up part is that I don't have the AC adapter for it!! >_<

But now I'm curious as to which FF game you received. In fact, I'm curious about all of them. But you don't need to tell me if there's more than you can count on your fingers.
