Description
In ancient Germania the Irminsular were venerated as pillars of strength and stood as the Germanic answer to the Romantic Axis Mundi. I have chosen to give my this version (I hang one in every room of my house) of my Irminsul as being more naturalised because I feel the Irminsul sprung from a maternal concept of the world-tree trifecta, from either Yggdrasil, Laerad or the general ideal of Lebenbaum found throughout the ancient World. The name comes either from a forlorn God or can be translated as the "great" or "mighty" pillar.
