Esmerelda drensde in the outfit that Thumbelina wears for the most of that movie. I did her hair using the daisies that Thumbelina has but with an Esmerelda twist on it.
The reason Esmerelda is wearing Thumbelina's dress is because they were both very focused on the present. They also both have a strong sense of loyalty which is shown when Esmerelda stand to defend her people (the gypsies) and when Thumbelina desperately tries to get back to her mother whom she loves. They were both also kind to people in need who weren't treated with as much respect as they deserved like when Esmerelda stood up for Quasimodo when he was crowed biggest fool and Thumbelia nursed the swallow back to health.
