Hi cupcakes! ^^This is my first attempt on an actually cake ring. I made it a few days ago and I'm quite proud of the result!
It's a vanilla cake covered in lilac icing and topped with a yellow rose with micro-pearls around it
So... what do you think?

This is so cute!
I'd say this was a success, for your first attempt. ^_^
The technique on this is amazing! I looked really hard and I can't find any start/endpoints for the icing or anything. This came together flawlessly. The cut lines are clean and smooth, and the vines and leaves of the rose are clear and distinct, they don't smoosh into the cake.
I really like the color scheme you used. Purple and yellow are my favorite of the complimentary color schemes, and even though its a pastel purple it still makes the rose pop. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
I love the placement of the rose. I like that its not in the center, because that way the tendrils and the leaves have room to spread out. The micropearls add he perfect finish. ^_^
