The sky is blown out to pure white. Unless the sky actually was white when you were there, in which case I take that back.

Actually the sky was white! Blue above my head but white next to the line of the horizon

I have a Picture of Zabriskie Point in my gallery, and I got to say yours is better. It's really an amazing place, I lived about 2 hrs from there.

wow,amazing view...awesome natural textures..maybe you shouldn't crop that part of the sky above ...I think it would be more effective from the aspect of the composition...
