no specific lighting technic was used for these shots at all really, i just liked how this one turned out

But, why you did not use your 50mm ? better result with this lense than the 18-55 ...

because my studio lights were setup in my room
50mm = to close for my small room
i only use it when i have them set up in a larger room/outside
