ive always liked the rat look but its hard to find a proper rat look rod-some people just paint blobs of filler on it and try and fake a rat look

not really ... rat rods are supposed to be cheap ... i know some of them might have sentimental values to some ppl, but who would pay 12,500$ for a rat rod ? you can have at least 4 similar looking ones for the same price.

I can appreciate your argument. One thing to consider though - I once turned down an offer of 6,000 for my Rat Rod '66 C-10. Granted it has $3,000 worth of engine in it, not to mention other parts.
