Hey, guess what? Turns out we were both partially right. All closed-cab Ford trucks built here in the U.S.A. between '32 to '34 had visors. However, in those same years, the closed-cab Ford trucks built in England ditched their visors. I learned this little tidbit of information from a couple buddies of mine in the KS Outlaws C.C. One guy owns a '32, one owns a '33, and one owns a '34.

I don't mean to be a jackass, but, are you sure that's a Stude? It looks exactly like a '32 Ford pickup. Well, at any rate, it's kool.

Don't sweat it, we're all learning. I got my ass handed to me by in a... discussion, if you will, about the year of the same car.

It's not a Deuce, Deuce's didn't have the Visor, it's 31 A-Bone

Partially true, dude. All '32 Fords EXCEPT the pickups ditched their visors. Trust me, I've got a buddy with a Deuce pickup, and it has a visor that came with the truck when he yanked it from the weeds of a farmer's lot. The truck had been sitting in that field since the 60's, untouched.

Very early 32s had the A Bone visor, very very early models, but that changed early on when the panels came out and they adapted that body. If your friend has one of these it is VERY rare. Many a rodder these days add one on just for the look on pickups. We have 2 in our klub "The Pandraggers". The doors on this one are odd though, really odd....as I was just looking at them. Different year doors is a possibility for sure...who knows...when it comes to rat Rods, it's anyone's guess

Another thing. The truck in this picture has a '32 Ford firewall. The '30-'31 A's firewalls were comparitively bulbous, due to the fact they doubled as the fuel tank (a stupid place in my opinion, but that's how they did it). This firewall is flat, with the exception of the ribbing.

That firewall is also aftermarket and has been filled, yup though does look like a 32, the middle section though looks kinda odd, hard to tell

My mistake, it is an A-bone...this is embarrassing. *swallows pride* I just noticed the drip rail just above the door top. Deuces ditched those, as well as the visor.

Yeah, if the firewall wasn't white, it'd be so much easier to tell. I think the lower center section has been cut away to accomodate an automatic trans. The engine looks like it's nearly if not butt-up against that thing.

yeah and did u look close out back? Are those lowering blocks to the right of the rear tire I see or something on the floor? That is odd looking lol

I believe those are lowering blocks, but I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with how lowering blocks work or where they get attached; all I know is that they get that ride slammed DOWN! Haha.

Yeah I used to have a set on my lowrider, it's an odd angle but looks like it could be something sitting on the floor

Well, lowering block or not, the full view clearly shows it's not on the ground. It's attached to the framerail by a weld, then I think bail-wired to the rear hub. Damn, that's a crazy setup.

Can't imagine that working too well, but if it drives, it MUST work.
