Y'know this picture? It kinda makes me wish that there was a comic based on this
I mean Marvel have done it with some other Stephen King stories, most notably "The Stand" and "The Dark Tower"
Still it's a nice attempt

Well there is room for improvement but it's not entirely bad
The only thing you need to be careful of is the at you're able to fit the story in graphic format without diminishing it
But I would still like to see more of it

I know it's hard, just look at the movie for instance. They made certain changes, but those changes actually work in favour of the film it doesn't take away from the story, now I know most times you can't fit every little detail from a book and adapt it into a movie but you can at least do it justice by sticking to it closely and tweaking it somewhat.
Even with all these problems it suceeded to be a good movie and faithful to the original story, and that's why I don't like it when they screw up book to tv/film adaptations because it's diminishing and disrespectful to it. (although there are some cases where the movie is better than the original source material or that they work as stand alone films) Here's the bottom line, if you're gonna change anything and not care for it, why adapt it at all?

Yeppp
And yeah! I think Darabount (or how he spells himself.. i dunno xDD) did a nice job with putting the book into the movie. it's a great piece he did there. I must say the book is better (and i read it before i've seen the movie) anddddd well to be serious... i really loved the movie version of for example Wild Bill better than in the book. And it's better to have that scene where John Coffey shows Paul his memories of Wild Bill raping the two children than the whole shoe, lunch package and shit stuff which happens in the book.
BUTTTT all in all... the book is better ;D

In the film it's Edgecomb as well, by the way, this may just be me, but your Paul kinda looks a little like Steve himself, you have to look a little closer at it I guess, good job, I like it.

Yeah, Steve, you know, the guy that wrote the book LOL, look at your Paul and compare it to a pic of Stephen and you might see what I see.
