I, for one, hate what they've DONE to her and her powers over the years, but I DO like many of the general concepts of Psylocke.
How can you NOT love a hot Japanese she-ninja with a British accent?
She's in the Exiles now, so there MAY be hope for her yet.

Thanks for the complement. She is really one of characters that's got a convoluted past, but if they did an awesome story about her, all of it wouldn't matter a lick - I'd be right there, and ready to read.

The younger me liked her a lot. But the older, more discerning me, kinda just likes the look mostly. But if they did do some cool kick-ass writing for here I'd be right there. For me, I could usually care less about any particular character - a good story though, that's what keeps me readin' comics...sadly not as many as I would like now a-days.

makes me wonder how they stayed so popular...now Spiderman..my fav, has always had a great story and great artists...but it wasnt respected as much as Xmen until after the second movie....everyone was still all over Xmen...and im sitting here like "Whats the big deal about Xmen..JEEZ!?" lol

I personally liked X-men for the ladies. Being a lady it's hard to find someone you can connect to in the guy dominated world of comics. Personally I don't think either book is guilt free as far as bad writing and bad art goes - and I've found that the best way to read it to find one book from the line and stick with that until it goes sour. Right now I feel that Ultimate Spidey is one of, if not the best, comics on the market. I haven't been disappointed yet. As for x-men currently, It's kinda hit or miss with Astonishing and Ultimate (the only ones I read).

well now i have to ask... have u even read Spawn? from what i remember (havent read much of my books in some time and cant afford to buy new ones) the writing for spawn was great..especially book 9 and 10...GREAT STORIES!

Hmmm...bringin' it back to the early 90's with a probably 12 year old less discerning me. I'm fairly sure that Spawn 9 & 10 were written by Neil Gaiman (one of the most amazing comic writers of all time and I hope I spelled his name correctly) and were indeed pretty damn good. But after the clock thing sorta ran it's course - so did Spawn. Spawn really shouldn't be an ongoing character, hell, none of them should be. That's why we've got so many problems in comics today.
