It's one of our countless routine evening promenades along the streets of Konoha village. We walk on and on, both of us dwelling in the sound of the city. Vendors calling out for customers. Mama calling for her children. Yet neither of us bother to speak. Once in a while we may strike a conversation. But it's never of lovebirds's sweet dialogues. "How's your day?" She may ask. "Pretty fine." Obviously the two of us are not chatty type. Even when the brief conversation ends and I lighting up my cigarette, we continue walking in silence together, savouring the tranquility between us. Sometimes I do wonder since when that the walk became so natural. Maybe she is also wondering the same. Maybe.
