I'm actually making Peridot a Goblin, because she's green and the goblins are a pretty techie race lmao. I am also doing Pearl as a Night Elf (though Blood Elf was a close 2nd). I'm still stumped on Amethyst, though I was thinking of making her a race with shape-shifting abilities (though I was thinking about making her a dwarf). I thought Garnet would be a cool Worgen, but I wanted her to be a paladin, and Worgens can't be Paladins ;-; I am also going to make Lapis Lazuli a draenei Frost mage. They're stills just ideas though, lmao. Feel free to give me more suggestions if you think of anything!

Okay, Peridot as a goblin sounds way better. Why did you choose Night Elf for Pearl though? i feel like her light skin tone and uppity attitude would be more at home with the blood elves. If you want Amethyst to shapeshift you'll have to make her a druid and I think troll would fit her personality considering thier laid back attitude and Amethyst's odd way of speaking. WOrgen would be great for Garnet, it could fit into her duality where her human form would be like sapphire (calm, collected, and thoughtful) while her worgen form could be quick to anger like Ruby; and if you can't make her a paladin then the next best thing would be a righteous Alliance Warrior. Your Lapis idea is good and to round this all out... why don't we make Steven a half blood elf priest who focuses on healing and defensive magic (but can use some shadow powers if he becomes too angry) or as a monk with more defensive abilities?

The reason I made Pearl a Night Elf was because I had this idea where I wanted to make all of the Crystal Gems to be on the alliance. In hindsight, that probably wasn't very smart, lol. Pearl's design has a bit of blue, so I associated that with Night Elves, lol. I LOVE the idea of Amethyst as a troll druid. I honestly think I'll go with that (even though that'll ruin my plan for all the CGs to be on the Alliance). I honestly haven't thought about Steven much, so any advice will be appreciated. I was thinking of making Greg a Pandaren though, lol. Depending on how much I choose to pursue in this series, I was thinking of making Bismuth a dwarf. I also haven't thought about Rose, but I like the idea of Steven being a half elf with Greg as a human and Rose as a Blood Elf (though I wouldn't be able to draw Greg as a gumpy panda then, lol). I could totally see Steven as a priest, though! Also, Rose might actually make an awesome Blood Elf paladin. I'll do some more research to come up with a cool class for Worgen Garnet (though I'll probably make her a warrior).

Yeah, if you make all the Crystal Gems alliance races then you cut yourself off from other possibilities; also, i'm fairly certain that the only reason races are restricted by affiliation is because those races side with those groups. Which means that it might make sense for one group to align with one side for a time but then switch to another should thier ideals change. If you want a reason for Amethyst working with Alliance races then use her story from the show: she was meant to be a Homeworld Quartz soldier but missed it and became a crystal gem. All you have to do is have troll Amethyst leave her village, get lost in the woods (maybe even moonglade) and learn druidic magic before she's found by the crystal gems. Also, now that you say Greg is a Pandaren I totally get it and I love the idea of lazy, brewing, Greg the Pandaren. If you want, he could be an alliance Pandaren and fall in love with Rose the Blood Elf and that could build on a whole forbidden romance idea... though a half pandaren half blood elf might be difficult to draw. But it would give Steven the enhanced pandaren fighting skills along with some Blood Elf magic and it would make him very unique. As for Garnet, if you want to make her a Worgen and still keep her as a tough fighter you're only options are Warrior, Death Knight, a melee Hunter, or some Rogue hybrid... because you need a rogue in this group for picking locks and disarming traps. Oh, and Bismuth the Dwarf is perfect

Admittedly, I think someone else thought of it first, but I can't wait to draw all the other gems I have planned for the Warcraft AU! I'm glad you like it!
