Description The Paradise Hornbill happily flits from tree to tree in the Great Fig Forests of the island of [Unintelligible] in the South Seas.

I'm thinking of making these into wall decals. I have to go and visit the local printer to look at samples. Also Photoshop is being a whiny little tart. Fancy not being able to save due to "disc error".  Hrumph!
Also I stayed up all night for some reason doing this and mucking around on skype. I am going to pay for it later on.

"I hear the voice of the yellow bird/singing in the tree. This is quite absurd."

Also I wished I lived on Unintelligible Island.

I was thinking of this song while creating this... www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBbgZa…

It is easy to get there you just need to set your compass by the moon and then head south. Sadly you have to learn the island's name first, that is the tricky part. I don't even know what it is yet but I will strive to find it out.

Whoa ho ho, I love it!  My first impression was of the "hornbill"  as a thin tissue membrane, like the conjectural Tapejara crest...Now that I know it's a casque, I'm trying to decide which interpretation I like better!  Certainly it's cool to imagine pterosaurian membranes as display features on true birds....Hm hm hm.

Such beautiful color combos, and I love the diamond pattern on the casque!

So pleased with the pterosaurian interpretation of the casque! What if I say it is a very thin casque... whisper thin. So the light shines through it :3

I was thinking of doing an accompanying bird in an inversed colour scheme. More of a bird of paradise converging on a hornbill or something.

Somehow it's good for the mood to look at it.
