Kim has had a very long day.

First she got up early to go over to Ron's house to help him get ready for an important college interview.

Then she got to school and found out her AP English teacher has been replaced with a major hard case who thinks all reading material should be at least two inches thick and completed weekly (with all associated reports, tests and such included.)

Bonnie is up to no good. She can't quite put her finger on what her rival is up to, but it can't be good. Add the fact she's being nicer to Ron and he doesn't see the problem.

Her mother talked her into wearing her LBD for Ron, even though it was starting to snow.

Her mother also talked her into taking the mini-van since Ron's rear-wheel drive compact car wasn't appropriate.

The snow turned into a major blizzard.

The nice restaurant they were planning to go to was closed.

They had to leave their backup restaurant early as it closed for the weather conditions.

The blizzard was turning into a white-out.

The van wouldn't start (the starter croaked.)

The batteries in her Kimmunicator were faulty.

On top of all that (and she didn't mention this to anybody) she really really needed a Midol.

So, yes, Kim is a little tweaked.

A lot of folks (me included) always seem to draw Kim with a sweet or sultry expression, yet on the series she's really prone to some sour mugs and not always where a bad-guy is involved. I still think she's pretty cute when she's angry.
