Description Solid-State (Concept Computer Case)

Unique Features:
-Front panel is touch sensitive
-Red stripe is a light and glows
-All gloss

I want to start refining my rendering techniques in the coming months, so i wanted to start with something simple and easy to get my head in the game.

So I will be doing a few of these to get the "Gloss" effect down.

Time: 4 Hours
Tools Used: Photoshop CS4 & Wacom Intuos 4

Colors looking good - shape is a little trippy.
When you say rendering - what specifically are you referring to? The color, the light effects...?
Rendering means something totally different to me - its a process for disposal of dead animals.

In the work that i do, "rendering" is how to draw light in relation to how it is reflected and reacts to the object that is being "rendered." So if I had to put it simply, its how to draw light on stuff.

Thank you for clarifying that.
One of these days I'll have to tell you about me and a computer geek comparing notes on AI...

It's easier to create a case like this in a 3d program like 3ds max/maya/blender when the shapes are so basic. Nice implementation nonetheless.

I would agree, however, I don't have the money to spend on those programs. My real purpose is to increase my 2D rendering skills.

Well, Blender is free and Autodesk supports students and others by giving them the programs like 90% cheaper. If you are studying graphic design at university or something similar you get those progs for free .

Keep up the good work

You could try google Sketchup as well. I use it frequently, it's easy to pick up. I export to kerkythea to render. Both are available free.
