Great job with this. Given how hard it is to catch these little buggers, and keep them in focus. Weel done.

Good job.  I spent a couple of hours chasing the buggers with far worse results. Did you use a flash?

Nope  But I did learn the difference between the cheap Vivitar UV filter and a real canon filter.. I bought a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras    used for $129, it has a Canon UV filter on it when it got here Bonus!!. WAY better results than with the vivitar lenses... So.. Most of my macro stuff has been done with ultra close up ad on lenses and focal extension tubes..  ... These I am using that lenses macro mode.. so I am like 3 or more feet away .. no flash

Cool. One thing I learned from a tutorial here on DA is to use a flash - even in daylight. It freeze frames the little buggers even more. I have not tried it yet, as I have not gone bug hunting again, but will.
