Taken at the Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia.

ESP opened in 1829 finally closed its doors in 1971. It remained abandoned until the late eighties and at that time a forest grew within the walls as well as becoming home to many feral cats.
Its now open to the public as a semi derelict preserved ruin and incredible to see how nature was reclaiming the structure as well as the grounds which is now managed decay rather than prevented, a truly incredible place to photograph.
