I don't see anything rude in his words. I understand why he finds it "boring", and I think that is the proper word to use when criticizing this.

Very nice! I'm interested to see how the male version with differenciate this style without looking too prissy. Oh, but the evening gown wouldn't work for an adventuring type, of course -- if she is a wizard, she ain't leaving the tower in that outfit.
