Description As part of my current project, we have been asked to illustrate parts of a fairytale with emphasis on the symbolic meaning behind the story. I choose to do The Frog Prince/King, or Iron Henry by the Grimm brothers. Turns out the meaning behind it is a girl loosing her virginity and her acceptance of males. Hence the goal was to make the image reflect this, without being over the top.

Symbol fun: notice anything different about the crowns?

Huh? The princess's crowns? Or princess's and prince's crowns?
One's colored white and the other isn't?

Both, the idea is that that the shape of both their crowns reflect the positions which they have in the story: That the prince is the aggressor and that the princess is the victim. Remember nothing says manly like a pointy crown (please don't flame me for that >.<)
