Actually I think she's still the belle of the ball, hair done up or no. But this way it does draw more attention to her eyes, her most defining feature.

In the spirit of feedback, there is something I have noticed. You tend to draw ears really high, and I've found it a little distracting. I think the part where the ear attaches to the head (at the top) is supposed to line up with about the midpoint of the eye.
...but given all the eyes on this picture, that may not be the best rule, you know? XD

Oh man, I've noticed this too. I draw ears really high and really big; I think it's because my own are so big and floppy and derpy looking. But, thank you. I really need to be more mindful of how eye placement effects the rest of the features. *__________* Thank you so much!

And as I recall, the bottom attach-y part of the ear is supposed to hit about where the bottom of the nose is, but I think it's rather variable? I forget. XD

Goodness gracious, I have no idea. I never really paid much attention to ears! This needs to change. But yeah, the place where the bottom of my ears attach lines up with the bottom of my nose. That's a great rule of thumb, thanks for pointing it out!
