About the title, I'm at a blank; if you can suggest a better one be my guest.I wrote an English exam today: setwork, as in poetry, novels and dramas. They like the question "comment on the diction" i.e. the word choice. I thought I'd title the pic because i have no words

Did you try the name "Elephant face on plateau with mountains in background before a torrential storm"?
Great photomanip, I like everything except the elephant. Edges are either too crisp or to blurry. I am not a photomanipulator but I would suggest some colours on overlay, using the dodge tool to correct the lighting with the rest of the piece or a shrinking of it and moving it farther back in the field.

I don't think it would fit.
I agree with you about the elephant, but no matter what I did, it always looked "cut-out". I even tried another elephant; the one you see is the second attempt. I did use colour overlays, and dodge and burn tools, all to no avail.
I think it's because it was my first animal photo-manipulation. I've done other manips with humans, which would explain why the background isn't as bad. I guess i must just work on it.
