Hello, everyone! Did anyone know I could make legit portraits? Well... it's technically true, this face turned out pretty good, but the moment my model fails me, something goes wrong.

For those new to my work, this is my OC, Richie Sole, the red superhuman boy who seems allergic to shirts, and this marks the first time he has ever been rendered in a digital painting of this sort. My methods were clumsy here, as I've only ever painted with acrylic paint in school, but these results aren't terrible. I just need to work on black, spiny hair. The reference images I found on google didn't really give me a lot to work with (though I think that's a matter of my own skill and experience).

I don't plan on constantly adjusting this image, but any advice on how I can improve my technique would be appreciated.
