I've had these pictures done for a while, and I've been meaning to post them. Now I'm finally getting around to it.

Years ago, my brother and I started plotting out a sequel game to the Heroes of Might and Magic series. After the fifth game, it started going back in time to tell stories in the past. We wanted a story moving forward into the future, after Queen Isabel's War and the Demon Messiah. So, we started plotting out the factions and races - and even created our own.

Next is the Dungeon faction - the Dark Elves of Ygg-Chall. Years ago, the clans were a small kingdom of elves in the region between Irollan and the Empire that declared independence from their brethren. During a brutal war between men and elves, the kingdom was destroyed in the carnage. In order to survive, the remaining clans made a pact with the enigmatic Faceless, children of Malassa, the Dragon God of Shadow. They moved into the deep caverns of the underworld and built massive cities in the dark. Following the mysterious and sometimes sinister teachings of their new goddess, the dark elves have become isolated and feared by the other races.

For a long while, the clans were divided and dominated by demon-worshipers. That was until a mysterious clan-lord named Raelag appeared and united the clans to stand against the onslaught of chaos. In truth, Raelag was once part of the demon-worshipers, even having become a demon himself. But he turned away from the Demon Sovereign's lieutenant after he fell in love with Isabel, for whom the Sovereign had dark plans. With the aid of Tieru, a legendary sage, he cleansed himself of the demon corruption and returned to his people. He became a champion of Malassa and joined forces with the Empire, Silver League, and even Irollan, to save Isabel from the demons. Now long past, Raelag has rarely been seen among the clans, but may very well need to return to help face the evils rising anew.

Heroes of Might and Magic belongs to Ubisoft. And I'm totally okay if they want to use my ideas. XD
