Two things - pick whichever one works for you:
One - he's got special gizmos to help him, like his chair.
Two - lack of thinking everything through on my part.
Personally, I prefer number one.

I would agree, after all, there was an episode on Criminal Minds where a crippled UnSub (Unknown Subject) used some sort of gizmo to ram his victims with his truck.
