Nice to see new work from you ,after quite some time .I think oil pastels are difficult media to use properly,exspecially,when mixed with other tecnique .

Yes, you are right, oil pastel is different to work with because it is so heavy and sticky but it is great to experiment with. I started scratching of a lot to have the colours underneath reappear and now I start putting it back on with a cutter or small spatula. That looks very heavy and makes the first layer look much more distant.

on the left part of the picture i see a violin-like object,is it supposed to be,or is it just me,imagining ?

It is abstract, everyone can see something else in it. You probably see a violin because you are musical
