Once saw a book entitled "Every Gun on Earth is Pointed at You". One of the commentators on the back of the dust jacket said about the book, "Unless you've read this book, you'll never understand why guns are such a huge threat to everyone's safety."
Which of course is stupid.
Some self-obsessed loser wrote a poetic eluge of stupidity to WND:

Gun control activists don't understand: it's never the guns killing people. It's the murderers killing people. That Cho Seung-Hui killed those 32 people during his massacre. The Columbine shooters killed all those kids and that teacher. Their guns were only tools, whose variable usage was, in this case, used for destruction. It was the murderers and their hatred for people that killed people.
Notice how liberals never tell you how often people's lives are saved because someone pulled a gun on a would-be killer? How they always seem to skip over details about communities of people who own guns and their suspiciously low crime rates?
What's even more insulting is that liberals coddle murderers by granting them furloughs, but take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens who would only use them to defend themselves.

Agreed all. Reason doesn't support there position so they resort to emotions. It is fashionable and easier not to judge. You appear more forgiving if you hate the gun and not the misunderstood perp.
The main thing they miss is that in the moment you can't fight bullets with hugs & wellwishes. You fight with other bullets.
If we ban guns, then there is no reason not to ban forks, bats, cars, water & heights.

I've seen it up for sale on World Net Daily, but for some reason, I can never seem to find time to purchase DVDs of any kind. Usually, I'm picking up manga or video games... or political commentary books like Godless and The Marketing of Evil.
