Maybe there should be a caption here: "Thanks public school."The recent video of the children being taught in school to sing a quasi-religous praise to a president really creeped me out. It made me think of this 'toon I drew a while ago and don't think I've posted yet.
Note to libs: The president works for the people - not the people for him.

It creeps me out too. Ya know during the reign of Chairman Mao when the children would go to school they could no longer say "Good morning teacher", they had to say, "May Mao live ten thousand years!" The government programmed their children on how to think, and idolized a mass murderer of their own people!

It's not so much forced as taught. Kids do as instructed. And our pub schls should not be teaching young minds to worship a political figure. Totalitarian states do that.

We can feel proud of prez (obviously not now) and support him, but in this country we do not sing praise to a civil servant. Do you compose songs of praise for the janitor? Our Prez is a servant of the people. It is not a 2-way street.
Repub presidents did not do the same thing.
Obama is a sad, weak and shallow leader. Most of the US now see that. It will take a crisis - to which Obama will say: "You are on your own (fill in country)" - before the rest of the world realizes that he is worse than Jimmy Carter.
