I like how you're the one pushing sterotypes. Yet you complain when anyone of another standpoint sterotypes conservatives. And really, none of that was meant to be smart ass. It was pretty damn sincere.
And why should it only be English? That's like saying we should all be white, Anglo-saxton Protestants. Our country mainly speaks English, yes, because it is a language that can easily be translated into and out of. But that doesn't mean we should try and eradicate other languages or cultures. The diversity of America is what makes us unique and beautiful.

Actually, I'm quite capable of thinking on my own. I've watched both "liberal" and "conservative" media. And to be honest, most of my teachers are conservative. The only liberal teacher I have is my AP American History teacher. Not to mention, I also live with a conservative father and we tend to get into political debates a lot.
And no, I didn't say you needed to be re-educated because you didn't agree, rather because you called Democrats "communists", when that is far from the truth. Rather, a fear mongering tactic.
Again, you fail to understand that America doesn't have a simple cultural definition. Even other countries have multi-lingual societies. We have even more so. People speaking the languages they want is their choice, but their choices will effect the way that they can communicate with others. We can't FORCE everyone to speak English. I don't understand how someone who claims to be for small government can back up ideals where the government would have to get between you and your private decisions. That's enormous government right there.

Actually my father is proud of me. He's always been glad that I was able to think for myself and has raised me to do so.

And yes, countries can survive without "protecting" their culture or language. I never said anything about borders. Immigration is in a whole other ball park. I think the entire idea of America has flown above your head. We are a country formed by the uniting of many cultures. And just because some other countries governments like to get into the personal lives of their people, doesn't mean that ours should too. People have freedoms and rights in this country. We cant FORCE them to speak a language if they don't want to and don't need to. Granted, it may be harder for them, but that is their choice. Plus, wouldn't regulating our language cost even MORE money?

Obama is not a socialist. The far right has just shifted so far over that centrist policies seem like the far left. I was saying hes nowhere near old school when it comes to Democratic policies. And social programs aren't designed to pamper lazy people. Its surprising that you would be upset over the poor being aided, but when people who are making millions already get subsidies and tax cuts, it doesn't bother you.

Ok, overexaggeration on my part. My apologies. Moreover, there is nothing wrong in aiding the poor. However, aiding the poor is not the government's job. Aiding the poor should be everybody's job, not because the government says that you must, but because you did it out of free will. I mean, we have charities. The poor can turn to them for help.

Ron Paul is supposed to announce next month whether or not he will run for President. For the sake of humanity, I’m praying he does. He seems to be the only Republican politician who could possibly provide a real challenge to Obama. Any other Republican politician (Gingrich or Santorum) wouldn’t be close to a match, while others (Palin, Huckabee, or Trump) would only guarantee him a second term.
