Claire Danes in graphite. This was kinda weird for me to draw because of the eyes and how they were mostly hidded. The left side and the right seem to be contrasting, like I subconciously used two different styles, rough on hte left side and smooth on the right side. I think I'm getting better at the hair, hopefully. I guess I'm progressing nicely, but nowhere near where I want to be. Opinions?Related content

This is so gorgeous....simply and ellegant.
I read that you're not too crazy about your own work, I mean critical, but I would like to say that
you have great consistency in your shading, which I personally think is the key to a great
piece of art, be it a sketch or not.
Something I'm still aiming for.

Your hair looks fine it's like it's just been sparyed with hair spary to stay in that postition and I can see the differences in the eyes but it's very good. one stupid question but...what is graphite?

Graphite is regular pencil lead.

Your drawings are all absolutely amazing..you get all the textures down beautifully, and it all just seems to flow.. gorgeous.
